Privacy Policy for eBay Source

eBay Source ("the extension") is a Chrome browser extension that lets eBay sellers attach a private source/supplier link to each of their active eBay listings.

Data we collect

None. The extension does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data, browsing activity, or listing information with us or any third party. There are no analytics, trackers, or remote servers involved.

Data stored locally

The only data the extension stores is the source link(s) you manually type in for a listing. This data is saved using Chrome's local storage API (chrome.storage.local) directly in your own browser profile, keyed by the eBay item ID. It never leaves your device, is never transmitted over the network, and is not accessible to us or anyone else.

Permissions

• storage — used only to save the source links you enter, as described above.
• Host access to ebay.com / ebay.co.uk / ebay.com.au listing pages — used only to display the source-link buttons next to your listings on the eBay Seller Hub Active Listings page. No data from these pages is read beyond the item ID needed to match a saved link to the correct row, and nothing is sent anywhere.

Data deletion

You can remove any saved link at any time directly within the extension (Alt+click a saved link). Uninstalling the extension or clearing your browser's local storage for the extension removes all saved data.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
